DICE has tried a lot of different things over the years to keep gamers interested and keep them moving from one Battlefield game to the next. When DICE deviates or falters, the games are not a big success. When DICE adheres to this formula, gamers line up to snag a copy. There are some duds in their arsenal.ĭICE has a simple formula for creating Battlefield games, with large maps, team based combat, and vehicles. Since 2002, there have been multiple entries into the franchise, but not all of them have been hits. DICE will tell you that it has not been an easy road to AAA super stardom.
